Common Questions

Everything. We run a dedicated 240V circuit from your panel to your garage, mount the unit, connect the app, and test it with your vehicle before we leave. If your panel needs work, we'll tell you upfront on install day — no surprise bills mid-job.

You pay a deposit at checkout to reserve your charger and lock in your install date. The remaining balance is collected on the day of installation — after the job is complete and you're satisfied. We accept card, check, or cash on site.

Not always — and we won't assume you do before we check. Most DFW homes with a 200-amp panel and open breaker slots are good to go. We run a load calculation on every job and tell you straight. If your panel is fine, we won't touch it.

For most daily drivers — Tesla Model 3/Y, Chevy Bolt, Hyundai Ioniq, etc. — the 40A Plus is plenty. You'll fully charge overnight. If you have a larger-battery EV like a Rivian, F-150 Lightning, or Hummer EV, or you plan to charge two vehicles, go with the 48A Plus. Still unsure? Yes. All Generac Level 2 chargers use the SAE J1772 standard. Tesla vehicles need a J1772-to-NACS adapter — Tesla includes one with new vehicles, or you can buy one from Tesla directly. We'll walk you through it on install day.

Yes — we ship all four Generac EV charger models to all 50 US states. Select "Charger Only — Ships Nationwide" on the product card. Shipping cost and timeline are confirmed at checkout.
